Definitely a reason why Ive avoided stepping into the role of “career meditation teacher” is money. It makes sense that money is exchanged for the time and energy involved in teaching meditation. But the position of power / being an expert and cult dynamics can easily turn it into something other than its meant to be. I think it can be done, but it has to be with a more transparent, less hierarchical, participatory model. Something like that!!!
